Welcome. You're invited to explore, be inspired and have your say.

This is a place to find common ground in Mount Alexander Shire. People from all walks are invited into the conversation here about how to respond to climate change and shape a future together.

Our council recently declared a climate emergency. A petition signed by almost 2000 people triggered a Climate Change Forum in 2019. 140 submissions and presentations were made at the forum and two key messages emerged. We need to apply a climate change lens to everything we do, and we need to take a whole of community approach. Where you are now is your way in, it will support broad community involvement in the Transition Plan, which will guide the way, as a community, we reduce our emissions to zero and adapt to climate change. The purpose of this interactive site is to enable a diversity of voices to be heard and ensure that our questions, ideas and values are represented.

In the discussion forums below create posts, comment and vote on ideas shared by others. Enjoy!
