Rain, hail and recycling

Published 19 April

Last weekend we spent a very wet morning at the Whitehorse Recycling and Waste Centre (WRWC) talking to people from all over Melbourne who use the Centre to recycle their goods and dump their waste.

The crazy weather didn’t seem to dampen their interest in providing feedback about the Centre. Most people thought that the WRWC was one of the better Council run facilities in Melbourne, well laid out and undercover. Some thought that signage could be improved to help people sort what can be recycled and the rising cost of waste disposal was also a hot topic.

What are your thoughts on the WRWC? Is there anything you would like to see improved?
