Road Side Vegetation Management

WHAT
Working with local governments to improve environmental outcomes of roadside vegetation management, including community led management and improved communication.

WHY
• The TEC Wheatbelt Woodlands acknowledges the significance of roadside vegetation in the community
• Considerable community concern about past/current roadside vegetation management
• Wheatbelt NRM’s long term approach of getting the community active in NRM needs to include work that enables those that don’t own land

WHY IT IS GREAT
Opportunity for Wheatbelt NRM to bring together players across Local Governments with community.
