get rid of parking meters ,would make the town more shopper friendly,money saved on maintaining devices can be put towards our new pool
I agree with not having parking metres in the CBD, but agree to maintain time limits with reasonable time limits for people to complete shopping. Shepparton seems to have the balance right here. If we must have parking metres the old system of tickets meant you could move your vehicle using the same ticket. The current system has taken this away and forced us to pay again should we move within the time limit.
You keep taking free car parking spaces away, just get rid of parking meters.
I am not in favour of getting rid of the parking meters. If we did this it would reduce council revenue and some of the services or wages council provide would have to be cut.

I support the removal of parking meters, however time limits need to stay and enforced so that shoppers are disadvantaged by workers. Also look at incentives for encouraging all people to use co-store multi storey car park.
