Encourage community use of the Upfield bike path along the trainline through planting trees/garden beds and installation of community art/sculpture. E.g. involve local schools/multicultural/sports/arts groups to contribute to a pathway that increases sense of ownership and celebrates Moreland's diversity.

Would be great to see Council increasing financial/resource support and community participation in the initiative :) If it became a continuous inviting stretch it would become a real attraction.

A great idea which is already happening across different communities :)

Great idea! It's already happening in some parts and makes a huge difference to the pleasantness and enjoyability of your ride. Whatever we can do to encourage more people to ride!! And with so much industry along the path, it's crying out for some vegetation. A great opportunity for community groups- especially involving kids - to assist in the process.

Great idea! increasing the sense of ownership, belonging, acceptance and embracing diversity can be shown so wonderfully by doing this.

This would be great and may encourage more people to ride their bikes. It would need to involve the path becoming wider though!
