Non-politicize the issue of the environment and have a partisan approach to solving it...but that's really going to happen isn't it...it wont happen until voters start voting with their feet and vote socially and environmentally conscious independents and greens...”

They exist to further the self interest of their 'all important' leaders and are only influenced by the powerful special interest groups like media, business and powerful lobby groups. The power of your vote is a myth. Rather than representative democracy we should have true participatory democracy.
