Luke asked the question: “Why does government reduce taxes and services when people demand more and better services?”
Luke asked the question: “Why do we never discuss Australian Foreign policy?”
Luke asked the question: “Why is there not a publicly owned miner competing with other miners so the state can get a larger share of the profits?”
Luke commented on James's question: “It is a lie. It was considered in Feburary, but it never has been government policy. http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/latest/8916664/carbon-tax-billions-to-help-poor-nations/ It was then utterly scuttled in June. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-07-10/gillard-reveals-carbon-price-scheme/2788842”
Luke asked the question: “Climate change denialism is strongly associated with the energy lobby, industry advocates and free market think tanks. Who funds these lobbies and think tanks? Any what are the ideals of these think tanks? Moreover if the utterly free market has lead to the ruin of this earth ought government not intervene as we have some value for our nation and planet?”
Luke asked the question: “We have 585700 unemployed in this country, how should we skill them up for the demands of the economy of today, and the new green economy?”
Luke asked the question: “You once said the Liberal Party was no longer a liberal party, what is you're opinion of the party today, and how is it reflected?”
Luke asked the question: “The Gillard Government has increased funding for School Chaplains by $220 million, to $400 million. In light of the recent revelations in Victoria with evangelical Christian groups rallying members to make "disciples." Why has the gillard government pandered to the Christian lobby and allowed such an outrageous break between church and state in school. Moreover, why on earth would a non-professional preacher be allowed in and paid by the federal government to fail hopelessly at a job that best be done by councilors and psychologists?”
