Hola!
I'm a co-founder of OurSay and am a current Director. You can find me on @lmdo.
I used to hang out as your Communications / Community Manager.
If you have any - literally - questions about this site and how to use it better to make sure that you're always #winning - just drop me a line: linh(at)oursay.org
Linh asked the question: “The University of Melbourne has offered a U21 Diploma in Global Issues for a number of years, yet there is no adequate support for students undertaking this course of study. Why does the university continue to offer a substandard online education that is not overseen by academic staff, but instead administrative staff?”
Linh asked the question: “International students make up a significant population of the University of Melbourne community. How will you work further in integrating these students into the wider community, particularly socially?”
Linh commented on Paul 's question: “Great question - the times are a-changing.”
Linh commented on Damien's question: “I hope that the Government answers not only to Australians but also the world who expect better. ”
Linh commented on Rebecca's question: “Gabby, she's already committed to doing something apparently - but it's all about specifics now!”
Linh commented on Stephen's question: “Federal government occasionally funds other transport products, why not public transport?”
Linh commented on Lily's question: “It's the worst that things like this can masquerade as a "sport".”
Linh commented on Kimon's question: “So basically anyone who isn't already 12? Why not just everyone in general?”
Linh commented on yara's question: “Great question Yara. ”
Linh commented on Ehon's question: “It's insane what a problem this is, and no one is taking action on it. ”
Linh commented on Mark's question: “Excellent question Mark!”
Linh commented on Simon's question: “Simon - you've answered your own question within your ramble. "The science is accepted now", and whilst it is supposedly "low" certainty over what will happen in the future - it doesn't mean something isn't happening now. Therefore the science is settled. ”
Linh commented on Russell's question: “I was unaware that renewable energies kill people. But, to the crux of your argument, France may be effectively using nuclear power but that's because those systems have been in place for over twenty years - there are no new plans to build any more plants. In fact, there are plans to decommission some. And the reason for the need to decommission these plants is because they are only operative for fifteen years or thereabouts, not to mention thatit takes approximately 10 years to construuct. ”
