Hayley commented on Hayley's question: “Thank Christ I do have a vote so I can help neutralise BS opinions like yours..”
Hayley commented on Julie-Anne's question: “It's only 'nothing' if you're a brainless Andrew Bolt sheep”
Hayley commented on Mark's question: “...no, the education system fails us when the average Aussie Joe thinks he understands complex climate science better than those who have studied it their whole adult lives. You can disagree with me all you like, but one of our views is backed by the best science we have right now, the other backed by Aussie bogan arrogance. Guess which one.”
Hayley commented on Mark's question: “This account of climate science reminds me of the archaic 'all humans are already formed inside the egg' Preformationist theories. If it makes you feel like you know better than those who have studied for decades, then sure. Doesn't mean you are right though”
Hayley commented on stuart's question: “..kind of like water isn't dangerous. You know. Cause it's natural.”
Hayley commented on stuart's question: “Hm lets see... still low on facts, clearly was offended at being called a bogan. So, you. Mars has just about no atmosphere, Venus has an atmosphere denser than Earths. But there has been research done that suggests that Venus may have been just like Earth, prior to a runaway Greenhouse effect,”
Hayley commented on stuart's question: “...you expect the majority of bogan Australian's to understand or comprehend climate science? Shame we can't delegate the ignorant Australians to Venus to see what elevated CO2 levels actually are like.”
Hayley commented on Mark's question: “ITS ALL A SCAM!! Just like the socialist propoganda that breathing water will kill you... water is H20, it has an oxygen molecule and its natural. So it can't possibly hurt you!! Quick, go put your head in a bucket of water and breathe in now!!”
Hayley commented on Mark's question: “Australia is full of simpletons. Looks like the education system has failed us.”
Hayley commented on Chris's question: “...I cannot even be bothered replying to this rationally. You are a simpleton. Respected scientists who think that humans adding 100 ppm extra CO2 to the atmosphere will have no impact are few and far between. If anything, these questions prove that the education system failed us. ”
Hayley asked the question: “What can be done to ensure that no one media 'voice' overpowers all others? And should there be public concern if one media 'voice' is found to have a considerable impact on public opinion? Shouldn't the people be presented with the facts and then given the opportunity to form their own opinion?”
Hayley asked the question: “It seems that there is a great emphasis on public opinion in regards to Climate science and the Carbon Tax. Given the reality that the vast majority of the population does not have the expert knowledge to hold truly informed opinions on the topic, should decision making on science based issues like this lie with public popularity and agreeance? Or should there be some means that leaders and experts in relevant fields can express their knowledge and recommendations to political leaders, for the good of the people?”
