Carrie-Ann asked the question: “Dear Prime minister, The Stronger futures legislation extends the failed Northern Territory Intervention for another ten years. Indigenous people strongly oppose this legislation and feel that it a major step backwards in terms of reconcilliation and self determination. Do you think Indigenous people in Northern Territory have no idea what is good for them and please explain why their own ideas for what would be effective help, such as more housing, been largely ignored with promises not kept.”
