Carolyn asked the question: “How is it that citizens with money who tend to live in safe, 'non-war-torn' Western countries find it easier to immigrate to Australia than those that live in abject poverty and are escaping death and persecution? What are you doing to overhaul the whole immigration policy (let alone the boat people and refugee policy) to allow those most desperately in need, into our country and to integrate them into our society?”
