Phosphorus, essential for life, is such a rapidly diminishing resource that Australian taxpayers are funding research into collection of urine (rich in phosphorus) from the masses for recycling. The addition of fluoride, which cannot legally be dumped anywhere in the world on land or at sea, will pose a major barrier to phosphorus reclamation. Does it not make sense to stop fluoridation now?

Ms Oke is just so behind the times re Fluoridation Research Fluorides are as Dr Sutton claimed the "protected pollutant" She should type in "Fluoride side effects" and then act to protect the planet and its people. For a so called Green pollie to support an accumulative poison such as Fluoride is reprehensible and hypocritical.

Ever since being a child we have been taught that toothpaste must not be swallowed as "Flouride" is poisonous, however it's OK to put "Flouride" into our drinking water ! Isn't that a double standard. And didn't " Adolf Hitler" introduce "Flouride" to the prison of war camps to subdue the prisoners ????

In the good? ol' days they got rid of industrial waste direct down taxpayers gullets... In these bad new times, they have to import the neurotoxic poison, ship it all the way from China. Guess which country loves making a fast buck out of not having to dump the stuff by the side of the roads thro the rice paddies....

It is puzzling to know why Australian governments seem to think fluoridation will help teeth when it is patently clear it does not. On the contrary, Pollutants from industry (masquerading as fluoride) cause untold systemic damage i.e. calcification of the pineal gland, thryoid disease, etc. So to fluoridate when we need phosphorus in our bodies is counterproductive; who is pulling the strings??

Fluoridation must be stopped now for more than just this reason - firstly it's a industrial waste product often contaminated with a range of other undesirable compounds. Secondly, and as demonstrated statistically it has no impact on the health of teeth. Third, fluoride is systemic and affects other parts of the body including functions of the brain. (of the Nazi's didn't put it in the water of the concentration camps to keep prisoners teeth healthy!). Fourth, it's a form of indiscriminate forced medication albeit it very inaccurate with regard to dosage.
