“Having children may be the greatest gift you can give yourself. Not having children is the greatest gift you can give the planet. it is a given we are a planet groaning with a human population over 7 billion. Our conservation areas are under huge pressure from surrounding human population growth. Our usable land and water resources are nearing maximum. China has a punitive one child policy which would not work under most systems of government. Should countries, like Australia, be offering incentives to its people to have more children through such things as a "baby bonus", which only encourage additional births, or should we be encouraging world population movements to fill population demand in such rare world growth communities?”
