Glen you appear to be overlooking a rather crucial point in this debate. People arrving by boat are asking for asylum. I think you will find that anyone that asks for asylum- regardless of how they travelled here- gets a hearing.
I would like to know why anyone who arrives in Australia can have citizenship in under 10 years, not have to be employed or supported by an employed person and not have to speak English fluently.
