Mr Fraser Section 116 of Australia's Constitution states - 'The Commonwealth shall not make any law for establishing any religion, or for imposing any religious observance, or for prohibiting the free exercise of any religion, and no religious test shall be required as a qualification for any office or public trust under the Commonwealth'. However the federal government now provides millions of dollars to religious institutions, faith based schools and school chaplains, has section 116 become null and void?

I attempted to conduct some business in the town of Jilkminggan which is 1.5 hrs drive from Katherine and could not even get mobile reception let alone have the ability to log onto to check emails or comlete online forms. This community regularly gets cut off by flood in the wet season and therefore rely on Telstra services. This is a real risk.
