Surely this is a clear demonstration that is vested interests that manipulate the political system for their own benefit and that we need more radical reform than a grassroots mobilisation of our preferred political party representative that will only be overwhelmed by the party machine but rather a system that does not require political party allegiance that debates issues on their merit rather than the party line?
