“I agree with many of the statements posted by others regarding the inordinate power that the Murdoch empire has over our news. But, do you not think that there is an even greater danger in allowing politicians to interfere with what can and can't be published. Our country has a strong tradition of freedom of speech, which seems to becoming progressively removed by "Nanny State" laws that limit our ability to speak our mind. Surely we are intelligent enough to accept or reject a point of view put to us either in the press or any other forum. Whilst I often disagree with the position taken by Andrew Bolt, I support wholeheartedly his right to make these comments and find the recent court action and decision a very worrying statement about the type of society we are forcing onto people, where we may become afraid to speak in fear of legal action,”
