Will you support what the majority want. Day Light Savings for Queensland, split the state if needs be, Broken Hill is in another time zone from the state it is in. USA has split states for DLS. Surely it's better to not have to turn our lights on at 7pm that must save heaps of power and we would be a fitter state. Not to mention how it would benefit the tourist industry to have an extra hour of day light at the end of the day. We always holiday somewhere that has Day Light Savings because we can get out in the evening and look at things. Also having a different time zone on the East Coast is rediculous. The Smart State - what a joke. Support the majority and don't be a dictator government like the one we have now.

Essentially our journalists (esp political journalists) are left leaning and not too bright. A look at the so-called ' Insiders' programme quickly exposes lack of genuine insight by those reporting politics. Q&A shows us its not just the journalists - maybe as a country we are getting a reflection of ourselves - lack of indepth analysis and for a society whic is, by western world standards, poorly educated.
